Forgot your Superhuman Docs login details or lost access to your 2FA? Here's how to regain access.

It happens to all of us. This article will cover how to reset your Superhuman Docs login password, including what to do if you've lost access to your multi-factor authentication device.

Reset your password

The method for resetting your password varies depending on what login method you use. To see a list of available sign-in methods, check out this article.

Email & password logins

As of July 2026, Coda is now Superhuman Docs. Along with this change, we are now using a unified identity service for the Superhuman platform. This means that password changes are now handled through Superhuman.

Reset while logged in

To reset your password while logged in, follow these steps:

  1. Click on your name in the lower-left corner of your Docs page, and select Account settings
  2. At the top of the settings page, you will see Sign-in & password. Click Manage.
  3. This will redirect you to a Superhuman admin page, where you can edit your password.

Google logins

If you signed up to Superhuman Docs with Google, you will not be able to reset your password using the Forgot password? link. Instead, follow Google’s Account recovery steps to regain access to your Google login, then sign in with Docs.

If you need to deactivate your Google account, make sure you first go to your Superhuman Docs account settings and switch to an email and password login. To do so, look for the Security settings section, find the Password option, and click Add to add a password. Once this is set up, you can then deactivate your Google account.

If you’ve lost access to your Google account and need to to recover your associated Superhuman Docs account, please contact support.

Lost two-factor authentication device

Life happens. If you've lost access to your two-factor (2FA) or multi-factor (MFA) authentication method, we can manually reset your account. This reset process requires a mandatory 14-day waiting period during which you can contact us to cancel the request. To start this process, please reach out to Docs Support. If you're logged out of Superhuman Docs, just shoot us an email at care@superhuman.com.
