Folders

You can easily manage your folders in Superhuman Mail 📁 

Accessing Folders

There are several ways to access your folders.

Desktop 

a. From the main inbox, hit the left arrow key to see your folders.  

b. Hit Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → go to [folder]

Mobile 

a. From the main inbox, pull down from the top of the inbox and swipe right to open Superhuman Command — like you're making an "L." Type go to [folder]

b. When viewing a conversation, pull down from the top of the inbox to open Superhuman Command then type go to [folder]

Moving a message into a folder

Desktop 

  1. Select the message you would like to move into a folder.
  2. Hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K Move or V to move a message into a folder.
  3. Type the name of an existing folder or type a new folder name to create one. 

This will move the message from your inbox into the folder. 

Mobile 

  1. Tap the message you would like to move into a folder.
  2. Pull down from the top of the inbox to open Superhuman Command.
  3. Type Move.
  4. Tap the desired folder or tap ➕ to create a new folder. 

This will move the message from your inbox into the folder. 

💡Tip: Consider using folders only when truly necessary. Mail's powerful search (Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Search or /) automatically searches across your inbox — including all folders — making it easy to locate what you need! 

Removing a message from a folder

Desktop 

  1. Select the message you would like to remove from a folder.
  2. Hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Move or V then select the folder. 

This will move the message from that folder to the Done folder. You can access the Done folder by hitting Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → go to Done or G then E.

Mobile 

  1. Tap the message you would like to remove from the folder.
  2. Pull down from the top of the inbox to access Superhuman Command.
  3. Type Move.
  4. Tap the folder to remove the message. 

To access the Done folder, pull down from the top of the inbox for Superhuman Command, then type go to Done

Deleting Folders 

To delete a folder on Desktop or Mobile, you would need to head to Gmail or Outlook for the time being.

FAQs

How do I make a sub-folder? 

You can make a sub-folder in Mail by adding a slash at the end of the folder's name.
