User Provisioning (SCIM)

Overview

Superhuman Mail supports account provisioning and de-provisioning through any SCIM-compatible Identity Provider (IdP).

Configuring SCIM

Prerequisities

  • You will need administrator access to your organization’s Identity Provider.
  • Your team must be on a Superhuman Mail Enterprise plan.

Configuration Steps

Reach out to your Account Manager or hello@superhuman.com to get the setup process started.

Step 1. Check your inbox for an email with the subject Set up SSO and Directory Sync and click the button:

Step 2. Select the option to Configure Directory Sync:

What information will Superhuman Mail need to configure SCIM for your organization?

To set up SCIM, you’ll need to provide our team with the following information:

  • The email address of your organization’s Identity Provider administrator.
  • Any domains that will be used with SCIM.

How else can I add or remove members from my Superhuman Mail team?

Even with SCIM configured, Superhuman Mail team admins can still add new members to their team by hitting Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Add to Team.

Teammates can also be added or removed by accessing superhuman.com/admin. Learn more about Superhuman Mail's standard admin controls here. 

Can I manage user groups with Superhuman Mail?

No, Superhuman Mail does not support user group management via SCIM at this time.

Can I manage user roles via SCIM?

No, Superhuman Mail does not support role management via SCIM at this time.
