Unable to Use a Superhuman AI Feature

Overview

If you ever find that you’re unable to access an AI feature within Superhuman Mail, there are a couple of steps you can take to remedy the issue quickly!

Activate Superhuman AI

First things first — let’s make sure Superhuman AI is enabled. On Desktop, hit Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Activate Superhuman AI. If you only see the option to deactivate, you’re all set!

On iOS, two-finger tap anywhere, then type Superhuman AI. If you only see the option to deactivate, you already have it enabled.

For Android users, you’ll need to enable Superhuman AI via Desktop.

Plan Type

As a reminder, feature availability varies between Superhuman Mail's different plans. If you’re not sure which plan you’re on, hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Billing to check. If you're a member of a team, you'll need to confirm your plan type with your team's admin.

Check for App Updates

Sometimes, it’s as simple as needing an update! Hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Check for Updates to ensure you’re on the latest version of our Chrome extension or Native app.

To ensure you’re on the latest iOS app, be sure to update in the App Store. And to update to the latest Android app, double-check the Google Play Store.

Upgrade Superhuman AI

If you first enabled AI a while ago, or you’ve recently switched your plan, you’ll want to be sure you’re on the latest version of Superhuman AI. You can do this by hitting Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Upgrade Superhuman AI to ensure your account has access to the correct features.

Enterprise Accounts

If you’re unable to access a feature while on a company Enterprise plan, you may need to check with your team administrator to ensure your plan has access to these features.
