Auto-Bcc
You can automatically log emails you send from Superhuman to your CRM by setting up Auto-Bcc. This will log emails to the corresponding contact in your CRM.
Setting up Auto-BCC
- Hit Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows)→ Auto-Bcc Settings.
- Paste your CRM’s unique bcc address into the window that appears.
- Hit Enter to save the change.
Once you open Auto-Bcc Settings, you can specify any domains or emails that you don’t want to get logged in your CRM, such as internal domains, or external people like lawyers and investors.
Finding the Auto-Bcc address
HubSpot
- Open HubSpot.
- Click the ⚙️ in HubSpot’s main navigation bar to access your settings.
- On the left side, click Objects → Activities.
- Select Email Logging.
- Under Manual Tracking at the bottom of the page, copy the BCC Address, and add it to Superhuman Auto-Bcc.
Salesforce
- Open Salesforce.
- Find your profile icon in the top right corner, and hit Settings from the dropdown.
- Under the Email section in the left hand side, hit My Email to Salesforce.
- Select which records you wish to associate emails to and hit Save.
- Copy the highlighted email address that appears as your Email to Salesforce address, and add it to Superhuman Auto-Bcc.
Close
- Open Close.
- Click Settings → Communication → Email.
- There, you will see the organization email listed under Secret Address.
- Copy the Secret Address, and add it to Superhuman Auto-Bcc.
Copper
- Open Copper.
- Click Settings → Personal Preferences → Email Settings & Templates.
- Select the Preferences tab at the top, and scroll down to the Copper Mailbox section.
- Copy the Copper mailbox address and add it to Superhuman Auto-Bcc.
Pipedrive
- Open Pipedrive.
- Click Settings → Email sync → Smart Bcc.
- Click Copy next to your Smart Bcc email, and add it to Superhuman Auto-Bcc.
Removing the Auto-Bcc address from a single message
- While drafting your message, hit Cmd+Shift+B (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows) to expand and bring Superhuman's focus to the "Bcc" line.
- Delete the Auto-Bcc address from the "Bcc" field.
