Autocorrect Overview

Autocorrect fixes errors as you go, such as misspellings, missing punctuation, and incorrect capitalization. With this feature enabled, you write faster than ever before. Autocorrect increases typing speed by 30-50%.

To ensure Autocorrect is enabled, hit Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Enable Autocorrect.

Currently, Superhuman's autocorrect feature supports English, French, Spanish, and German.

How can I prevent autocorrect from making incorrect suggestions in non-English languages?

At the moment, Autocorrect is only available for English, French, Spanish, and German. Need another language? Hit Cmd+K/Ctrl+K → Contact Us to let us know!

To reduce friction, we advise hitting Cmd+K/Ctrl+K → Disable Autocorrect to prevent those language errors. You can use our AI functionality to correct any spelling or grammatical errors within your email draft by hitting Cmd+J/Ctrl+J and typing in your command.

Autocorrect keeps correcting a name/acronym that I don’t want corrected, what do I do?

If you’d like autocorrect to learn a certain spelling, hit Cmd+Z/Ctrl+Z to undo the correction. Once the text is red underlined, click on the text and then select Learn “word” to add that spelling to your personal dictionary.
