Salesforce
The Salesforce integration for Superhuman allows you to:
- ✍️ See and update contact, lead, account, and opportunity details right from your inbox
- 👥 Add new Salesforce contacts from Superhuman
- 🛠️ Customize which sections and fields you see
To get started:
- Hit Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Enable Superhuman for Sales
- Hit Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Salesforce Settings
- Then, log into Salesforce and you’ll see Salesforce information in the sidebar for any contact that has a record in Salesforce!
Customize your View
You can customize the sections in your Salesforce sidebar. To add or remove fields, hit ⚙️.
Updating Salesforce from Superhuman
You can update Salesforce fields by hitting Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Edit, then Cmd+Enter (Mac) or Ctrl+Enter (Windows) to save. You can also hover over the field you want to edit.
Auto-Bcc
Superhuman allows you to add your Salesforce-generated bcc address to every message that you send. Currently, this does not log emails to specific Salesforce records. To get started, first find your Salesforce bcc address:
- Open Salesforce
- Find your profile icon in the top right corner, and hit Settings from the dropdown.
- Under the Email section in the left hand side, hit My Email to Salesforce
- Select which records you wish to associate emails to and hit Save.
- Copy the highlighted email address that appears as Your Email to Salesforce address.
Then, in Superhuman you'll want to:
- Hit Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Auto-Bcc Settings.
- Paste the bcc address into the window that appears.
- Hit Enter to save the change
FAQs
Common causes of errors
- You will see an error message if your Salesforce edition does not have API access enabled. Check here for the editions that have API access.
- If you have the right Salesforce edition, you may need to check with your Salesforce admin that your account is “API-enabled” to enable the Salesforce integration with Superhuman.
How do I remove the Auto-Bcc address from all messages moving forward?
- Hit Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Auto-Bcc Settings.
- Delete the Bcc address from the field.
- Hit Enter to save your changes.
How do I remove the Auto-Bcc address from a single message?
- While drafting your message, hit Cmd+Shift+B (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows) to expand and bring Superhuman's focus to the "Bcc" line.
- Delete the Auto-Bcc address from the "Bcc" field.
