Signatures

Gmail

Superhuman uses your Gmail signature at the moment, and you can add one to Gmail like so:

  1. Go to your Gmail general settings.
  2. Scroll down to Signature: and click "Create New."
  3. Enter the name and add your signature.
  4. Be sure to select the signature for both of these settings:

  5. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.
  6. After a few moments, head back to Superhuman and hit Cmd+R (Mac) or Ctrl+R (Windows) to refresh or force-quit and reopen the app.

You can then configure your signature to be included or removed on all replies and forwards by hitting Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Signature:

Outlook

You can paste your existing Outlook signature — images and hyperlinks included — into our signature menu after hitting Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Signature.

We have seen some finickiness when copying from the Outlook desktop app, so we would recommend doing so from your signature settings in the Outlook web app instead.

You can then configure your signature to be included or removed on all replies and forwards.

Sent via Superhuman

To help spread the Superhuman love, you'll notice that we've included a Sent via Superhuman link in your signature field. When someone clicks on your signature link to sign up, both you and the individual signing up will receive 1 free month of Superhuman!

You can follow the steps below to remove Sent via Superhuman from your email signature on either a computer or your mobile device.

Desktop

Hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Signatures and uncheck the box to the right of Include Sent via Superhuman.

Mobile

  1. Pull down from the top of the inbox, then swipe right to pull up Superhuman Command — like you're making an "L."
  2. Type in, then tap Signatures.
  3. Toggle off the Include Sent via Superhuman setting:

FAQs

Can I configure my signature to be included or removed on all replies and forwards on Mobile?

There isn't a way to configure this on Mobile just yet, but Mobile will respect the settings on Desktop.
