Managing Accounts

You can add as many Gmail-based or Outlook-based accounts as you'd like —  whether that's a work account or a personal account! ✨

Desktop

How to add an account

Hit Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Add Account

  • If an account is hosted through Google, select Sign in with Google.
  • If an account is hosted through Microsoft 365, select Sign in with Microsoft.

How to switch between accounts

To switch between accounts you've added to Superhuman, hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Switch Accounts

The shortcut for each account will appear on the right side of the menu.

How to change the order of your accounts

Hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Account Settings. Then, click and drag the three little bars to the right of the account to rearrange the order.

How to remove an account

Hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Account Settings then click Sign out next to the account you'd like to remove.

Mobile

How to add an account

  1. In your inbox, press-and-hold on your account icon in the bottom right corner.
  2. Tap Accounts.

  1. Tap Add Account.

  1. Sign into your Gmail or Outlook account.

How to switch between accounts

There are several ways to change accounts on Mobile:

  • Tap the account icon in the bottom right corner to flip through your accounts.
  • Press-and-hold the account icon, then tap an account in the list that appears.

How to change the order of your accounts

  1. Press-and-hold the icon in the bottom right corner.
  2. Tap Accounts.

  1. Press-and-hold then drag the 3 lines to the right of the account you'd like to reorder.

How to remove an account

  1. Press-and-hold the icon in the bottom right corner.
  2. Tap Accounts.

  1. Tap Sign out next to the account you'd like to remove.

FAQs

Can I add other accounts that aren't hosted in Google or Microsoft 365?

We only support Gmail and Outlook-based accounts at the moment, but we're planning on supporting other accounts in the future!
