Superhuman Mail for Gmail brings Auto Labels, Auto Archive, Auto Drafts, and Auto Reminders directly into your existing Gmail inbox — no new app, no browser extension required.
Superhuman Mail for Gmail is an AI agent that works quietly in the background of your Gmail inbox. After a one-time setup, it handles the repetitive email work for you: labeling incoming messages, archiving noise, drafting replies in your voice, and following up on conversations that need a response.
Complete onboarding
Onboarding walks you through setting up each feature:
- Auto Labels — how to categorize your incoming emails
- Auto Archive — which types of emails to move out of your inbox automatically
- Auto Drafts — your personalization details so the AI can draft replies in your voice
- Auto Reminders — when to resurface emails that haven’t gotten a reply
When onboarding ends, you land on Dashboard. Take a few minutes here to review and adjust your settings before you open your inbox.
💡 Tip: Fill out your personalization details fully during setup — the more context Auto Drafts has about you and your communication style, the faster it matches your voice.
Auto Labels
Auto Labels categorizes your incoming emails the moment they arrive, using Gmail labels. You’ll see labels like [1. Respond] and [2. FYI] appear in your Gmail sidebar — so you can immediately see what needs your attention.
To turn off a specific label, go to your settings at http://superhuman.com/mail/settings.
If a label was applied to an email incorrectly, you can remove it from that specific message. Keep in mind that Auto Labels will continue applying the label to future emails matching the same criteria. To stop a label from being applied entirely, turn it off in settings.
Auto Archive
Auto Archive moves emails from your chosen label categories out of your inbox automatically, so the noise stays out of your way without any manual effort.
Auto Archive works going forward from the day you activate it. Emails already in your inbox before setup won’t be retroactively archived — do a one-time manual cleanup for anything that was there before, and Auto Archive will handle the ongoing flow from that point on.
Auto Drafts
Auto Drafts generates a reply for every email that needs a response, written in your voice. Each draft appears in your Gmail drafts folder just like any normal Gmail draft. Review it, edit if needed, and send.
Early drafts may not perfectly match your style — Auto Drafts improves over time as it learns from the emails you send.
💡 Tip: If a draft isn’t quite right, edit it to help Superhuman Mail learn your preferences faster.
Auto Reminders
Auto Reminders resurfaces emails that haven’t gotten a reply, so nothing falls through the cracks. When a reminder fires, the email comes back into your Gmail inbox from reminders@superhuman.com, with a follow-up draft ready to send.
Access and manage your settings
