Access paid features after paying for Grammarly via the App Store or Google Play Store

If you can access the paid features on one device but not on another or in a different Grammarly application, see this article: Get Grammarly to recognize your paid account

If you purchased your Grammarly subscription via the App Store or Google Play Store, but the status of your account hasn’t changed, follow the instructions below.

Purchases made via the App Store

If you purchased your subscription on a mobile device, open the Grammarly companion app on your phone, go to Account, and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the screen:

If you used a desktop computer or a laptop, open the Grammarly for Safari companion app, click Grammarly for Safari in the upper-left corner of the screen, and click Restore Purchases:

Note: Please make sure that you are using the same Apple ID that you used to purchase the subscription.

If the issue persists, contact Grammarly Support and share your payment receipt email. To learn how to locate your receipt, see this article by Apple: View your purchase history for the App Store and other Apple media services

Purchases made via the Google Play Store

To resolve this issue, contact Grammarly Support and provide your Google Play order number so we can locate your subscription. Search for the confirmation email from Google to find the order number.

Note: In some cases, the purchase may not be finalized by the Google Play Store. If so, the purchase will go unacknowledged for three days after the purchase date, and the payment will be automatically refunded. For more information, please contact Google Play Support at Google Play Help.
