Grammarly for Mac doesn't function correctly on Microsoft PowerPoint

A recent Microsoft update to PowerPoint introduced changes that disrupted how Grammarly interacts with the app, so Grammarly for Mac no longer shows underlines or allows you to review all suggestions.

We’ve already reached out to Microsoft to better understand the changes and explore potential solutions together. We’ll continue working closely with their team to restore compatibility as soon as possible.

Temporary Workaround

To restore the Review all suggestions option within PowerPoint:

  1. Open Reading View (Command + 5)
  2. Exit back to edit mode (Esc)
  3. Click into any text box to refocus it
  4. Open the Grammarly for Mac tab on the right and check whether Review all suggestions appears again

Alternative Option

If the workaround doesn’t help, you can still review your content by copying your text into the Grammarly Editor, where all writing suggestions will remain available.
