How to rewrite text in Grammarly for Android

You can use Grammarly’s AI features to enhance your writing in Grammarly for Android:  

  1. Highlight the text you’d like to improve.
  2. Tap the Grammarly (G) icon
  3. In Revision mode, tap the lightbulb icon:

  4. Select one of the available prompts.
  5. Review the suggestion and tap Use this version to apply it.

If the default prompts don’t fit your needs, or you’d like to see more options, you can modify them by doing the following:

  1. Open the Grammarly companion application and go to Settings.
  2. Select Assistant Prompts and choose the prompts you’d like to display in the Grammarly interface, as shown below:

You can select as many prompts as you want, and the minimum number of predefined prompts to be displayed is one (i.e., you can’t deselect all of them). The new generative AI user interface now allows you to type the prompt of your choice in the text field at the bottom of Revision mode.
