FAQs

How much does it cost to import a Google Doc?
You don't need a specific plan to import a Google Doc. Doc Makers may import Google Docs to Superhuman Docs in their workspace at no extra charge. For more on Docs pricing, please visit our pricing page.
Does this tool let Superhuman Docs see all my Google Drive files?
Generally speaking, Superhuman Docs requests 2 permissions for your Google Drive:
View & Manage Google Drive files
Add itself to Google Drive
These permissions allow Superhuman docs to be stored and live alongside your Google Docs. This does not allow Docs to see any info about your other Google Drive files. It only allows Docs to access the files and folders you have created with Docs.
When sharing a document or inviting someone else to Superhuman Docs, we will ask for the "View users on your domain" permission, which allows for easy sharing and auto-completing co-workers email addresses. We never pull random address, we can't see anyone's passwords and we won't email your address book.
Do I need to be a Doc Maker to import Google Docs?
Yes, only Doc Makers can use the Google Docs importer. Learn more about Doc Makers and other Superhuman Docs roles here.
Does the importer work on Google Docs with multiple tabs?
The Google Docs importer cannot currently import multiple tabs. If you import a Google Doc that contains multiple tabs, only the first tab will be imported. We hope to change this functionality in the future.
