Superhuman Docs' forms make gathering information easy, but it is important that responders can also easily give this information!
You can share a form with an external link so that anyone, even someone who is not signed up for Superhuman Docs, can receive the form and provide their responses.

Create a link for sharing
Once you've created a form, you have the option to share just the form without granting access to the rest of the doc. You can generate a link for the form and share that link with others, regardless of whether they have access to the underlying doc. We call this publishing a form. Keep reading to learn how to publish your Docs form.
To publish, hover over your form, select Options in the upper-right, then select Publish from the menu. This will open the publishing panel on the right. Just click the Create link button to get started. Copy the link that is provided, and share it with the world (or whoever you choose)!
To get a preview of what your form looks like - and to make sure any special customizations you set work as intended - click Preview form.
💡 Tip: You can use that published form link to then embed your form in other docs (and beyond).
Adjust the privacy settings
Would you like to have the ability to stop collecting responses to your form after a certain benchmark? Or perhaps you are including relation columns in your form and want to make sure that all information from the relation table shows up properly in the form.
You'll find these and more in the Privacy section of the Publish form options panel. To access this panel, hover over the form, select Options in the upper-right corner, then click Publish.
Expand the Privacy section to customize features like:
Allow Submissions: This setting is automatically turned on when you publish your form. Stop collecting responses by toggling it off.

Require login: Toggle on if you would like to require users to be logged in to view and respond to the form.
💡 Tip: Are you just looking to automatically gather the names of responders? You can do this with a Created By column. Just add a new column to the responses table, and use the CreatedBy() formula. Then hide this column in your form.
Include hidden columns for URL parameters: Toggle this on to be able to encode your URLs with parameters that are collected in hidden columns that people filling out your form would not see (more on this here).
Include referenced tables: Off by default. If you use formulas in your relation column or relation table, you must toggle this feature On for those formulas to work in your form as well.
Include people: Toggling this feature On includes every doc user - including respondents and doc viewers - as a selectable option in any People column.

How do I embed a published form?
You can embed a published form either in another Superhuman doc or in the third-party tool of your choice. To do so, hover over your form in the source doc, click Options in the upper-right, then select Publish. Once published, you should see an Embed this form section below the published link. You can set the width and height of the embed, then use the Preview or Copy embed buttons.
I have edit access to a doc, why can’t I generate a published link for a form?
If you have edit access to the doc but aren't able to publish a form, this is likely because the doc owner has disabled Allow anyone who can edit to change permissions and share - found in the doc's advanced sharing settings.
Can I require a response to a question before a form can be submitted?
Yes. Click on the column type drop-down and toggle on Required to require answers to certain questions before a form can be submitted. Learn more here.
Why aren't the formulas in my form populating correctly?
If you're seeing an error for a formula in your form, this is most often means that your formula is referencing relation columns. If your formula is referencing relation columns, you need to make sure you toggle on the Include referenced tables option in your form's privacy settings. This will allow the form to access the data in those relation columns, and should therefore ensure that your formula works correctly.
Can I require people to log in before completing my form?
Yes. From your form’s privacy settings, you can toggle on or off the Require login setting. When toggled on, users will be required to log in to complete your form.
Why can’t I add a new item as a quick add to a select list column in a published form? It appears in the builder but not the published form.
This is only allowed in the form builder. Allowing external users to change the selectable items would violate the security principles of Superhuman Docs' form feature. A workaround is to add an “other” column where people can enter free-form responses.

Can I remove the Superhuman branding at the end of my form?
