Sell your Packs on Superhuman Docs

Learn how to manage your Pack monetization on Superhuman Docs.

As of July 2026, Coda is now Superhuman Docs. Along with this change, new applications to sell Packs are paused. We're working on a new monetization model for developers on the Superhuman platform and will share more details when available. If you were already approved to sell Packs before July 8, you can continue managing your existing paid Packs as described below.

Set a price for your Pack

Note: As of July 8, 2026, free Packs cannot be changed to paid, and new Packs cannot be listed for sale. The settings below apply only to Packs that were already listed as paid before July 8.

Packs are priced on a per Doc Maker, per month basis — from $1 to a maximum of $100. Superhuman receives 30% of revenue; you receive the remaining 70%.

Example: A Pack priced at $5/Doc Maker/month purchased by a workspace with 2 Doc Makers = $10/month charged to the workspace, $7/month paid to you.

Update the price for an existing paid Pack

  1. Open your Pack in the Pack Studio
  2. Click into the Listing section, then the Pricing tab
  3. In the Pricing model section, update the price per Doc Maker
  4. Click Save

Price increases have a 30-day grace period for users who already have the Pack installed. Price reductions and switches to free take effect immediately. Once a Pack is made free, it cannot be changed back to paid.

Allow trialing

Trials let users try your Pack free for 14 days before purchasing. They're enabled by default. To disable, toggle off Allow trialing this Pack in the Listing page of the Pack Studio. Note that disabling trials may make sense for Packs that connect to services that charge on a per-use basis.

Publish your Pack

After configuring your Pack, list it in the Gallery:

  1. Within the Pack Studio, click Share in the upper right
  2. Click the Publish tab
  3. Optionally click See full listing to preview your Pack's listing
  4. Click Publish

You may be blocked from publishing if you haven't completed the listing page. If you run into any issues, check out this article.

What's changing in July 2026?

Starting July 8, the following changes are in effect:

  • New payout account applications are paused. Developers without an existing payout account cannot apply to monetize their Packs at this time.
  • New paid Pack listings are paused. Developers with existing payout accounts cannot list additional Packs for sale.
  • Free Packs cannot be changed to paid. This applies to new Packs and to existing free Packs.
  • Once a paid Pack is made free, it cannot be changed back to paid.
  • Only users on legacy Coda workspaces can purchase Packs. New Superhuman Docs users cannot purchase a la carte Packs at this time.

I have an existing payout account for Packs. Can I list new Packs for sale?

If you were approved to sell Packs before July 8, you can continue to sell any previously listed Packs. But there are some important changes:

  • You cannot list any new Packs for sale.
  • If you have any existing Packs that are listed for free, you cannot change these to paid.
  • You can still change a Pack's price. You can also make the Pack free — but note this is permanent. Once a Pack is free, it cannot be changed back to paid.
Can Superhuman Docs users continue to purchase Packs?

As of July 8, only users on legacy Coda workspaces can purchase a la carte Packs. Users who are new to Superhuman Docs or who upgrade to the Superhuman bundle cannot purchase Packs at this time.

We're working on a new monetization model for developers on the Superhuman platform, which we hope will bring exciting new opportunities for our developers. We'll share more details soon.
