You can easily manage your folders in Superhuman Mail πΒ
Accessing folders
There are several ways to access your folders.
DesktopΒ
- From the main inbox, hit the left arrow key to see your folders.Β
- Hit Cmd+K (Mac) orΒ Ctrl+KΒ (Windows) β go to [folder].Β
MobileΒ
- From the main inbox, pull downΒ from the top of the inbox and swipe rightΒ to open Superhuman Command β like you're making an "L." TypeΒ go to [folder].Β
- When viewing a conversation,Β pull downΒ from the top of the inbox to open Superhuman Command then type go to [folder].Β
Moving a message into a folder
DesktopΒ
- Select the message you would like to move into a folder.
- Hit Cmd+K orΒ Ctrl+K β Move or V to move a message into a folder.
- Type the name of an existing folder or type a new folder name to create one.Β
This will move the message from your inbox into the folder.Β
MobileΒ
- Tap the message you would like to move into a folder.
- Pull downΒ from the top of the inbox to open Superhuman Command.
- Type Move.
- Tap the desired folder or tap β to create a new folder.Β
This will move the message from your inbox into the folder.Β
π‘ Tip: Consider using folders only when truly necessary. Mail's powerful search (Cmd+K orΒ Ctrl+KΒ β Search or /) automatically searches across your inbox β including all folders β making it easy to locate what you need!Β
Removing a message from a folder
DesktopΒ
- Select the message you would like to remove from a folder.
- Hit Cmd+K orΒ Ctrl+KΒ β Move or V then select the folder.Β
This will move the message from that folder to the Done folder. You can access the Done folder by hitting Cmd+K orΒ Ctrl+KΒ β go to Done or G then E.
MobileΒ
- Tap the message you would like to remove from the folder.
- Pull downΒ from the top of the inbox to access Superhuman Command.
- TypeΒ Move.
- Tap the folder to remove the message.Β
To access the Done folder,Β pull downΒ from the top of the inbox for Superhuman Command, then typeΒ go to Done.Β
Deleting foldersΒ
To delete a folder on Desktop or Mobile, you would need to head to Gmail or Outlook for the time being.
