Instant Event
Desktop
With Superhuman AI, you can now create events automatically!
In an open message, hit Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Create Event or B.
This will include recipients from the thread, a summary of the meeting's purpose, and default Meeting Link Settings. Instant Event will fill out as much relevant information, and will even suggest the best time based on your availability, and your team's availability!
When a date is detected in a thread, Instant Event will appear as a suggestion below.
You can also click on an in-text date to see Instant Event.
Mobile
There are several ways to use Instant Event.
a. In an open message, pull down from the top of the inbox. Type then tap Create Event.
b. Instant Event will appear as a suggestion when a date is detected in a thread. Tap Create event to have Superhuman AI draft an event from the open message.
This will add recipients from the thread, a summary of the meeting's purpose, and default Meeting Link Settings. Instant Event will fill out as much relevant information, and will even suggest the best time based on your availability, and your team's availability!
Ask AI
Desktop
Superhuman AI can help you create an event from scratch! When scheduling an event with your team, Ask AI will recommend the best time based on both your availability and your team's availability.
Just hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Ask AI or ?, then ask Superhuman AI to create a meeting for you.
Click Edit to modify a draft event created with Ask AI.
Once you've made your edits, hit Save to create the event, and add it to your calendar.
Mobile
Pull down from the top of the inbox. Swipe right to pull up Superhuman Command — like you're making an "L." From there, tap Ask AI.
Ask AI will factor in your availability, and your team's availability when finding a time!
Create Empty Event
Desktop
You can create an empty event by hitting Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Create Empty Event or Shift+B.
Hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K to add more details including a Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams link, location, description, and more!
Once you've added your event details, hit Cmd+Enter or Ctrl+Enter to create the event, and add it to your calendar.
Mobile
There are two ways to create an empty event.
a. Tap the Calendar icon in the top left corner to open up your calendar and create an empty event.
b. Pull down from the top of the inbox. Swipe right to pull up Superhuman Command — like you're making an "L". From there, type then tap Create Empty Event.
This will pull up your calendar. Tap on a time you want to create an event. Once you've added your event details, tap Save to create the event and add it to your calendar.
Team Scheduling
Desktop
When creating an event, add your teammate's email address in the "Who" field to see their schedule.
Mobile
You can see your teammate's availability when creating an event by adding their email address in the "Who" field.
Adding more than 4 calendars in the "Who" field will collapse individual availability, showing a summary of conflicts for each time block.
Tap Show individual calendars in the event details to bring back individual availability.
Timezone Conversion
Desktop
When creating an event, add the desired timezone in the "When" field. Superhuman will automatically adjust the time for you!
Mobile
Timezone conversion is desktop-only at the moment.
Edit Events
Desktop
You can easily make changes to events in Superhuman from either the day or week view.
Click the event you’d like to edit, then click the three dots in the top right corner.
Click Edit to make changes to the title, time, timezone, attendees, meeting links, location, and description.
To change the time, use the dropdown menu or click directly on a new time slot in your calendar.
Once you’ve finished your edits, click Save.
If guests are invited, Gmail accounts will see a prompt to send an update.
Recurring Events
When editing recurring events, two options will appear:
a. Only this event edits just this singular event.
b. All events edits this event along with all past and future events.
Deleting Events
Select the event you’d like to delete, then click the three dots in the top right corner.
Click Delete then three options will appear:
a. Only this event deletes just this singular event.
b. This and all following events deletes this event and all future events.
c. All events deletes this event along with all past and future events.
Mobile
Edit Events is desktop-only at the moment.
FAQs
I don’t see Edit Events in my account.
Hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Check for Updates to ensure you’re on the latest version of the app.
Can I edit events if I’m not the owner?
No, you’ll only be able to edit events if you’re the owner or have full edit permissions on the calendar.
What happens if I edit an event while offline?
You can still make edits offline. If someone else edits the same event while you’re offline, the most recent version will be saved once you’re reconnected.
