HubSpot

The HubSpot integration for Superhuman allows you to:

  • ✍️ See contacts, companies, and deals from your inbox.
  • 🛠️ Customize which objects and properties you see.
  • 👥 Add new HubSpot contacts from Superhuman.

Desktop

View HubSpot data

You can view HubSpot data associated with the contacts that you are emailing. Simply hover over a recipient in an email and the data will display in the right sidebar.

To get started:

  1. Hit Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Enable Superhuman for Sales.
  2. Hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → HubSpot Settings.
  3. Then, log into HubSpot and HubSpot information in the sidebar will appear for any contact that has a record in HubSpot!

Customize your view

You can customize the objects and properties in your HubSpot sidebar. To add or remove properties, hit ⚙️.

You can also edit properties by hovering over any property in the HubSpot sidebar or by hitting Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Edit.

Adding Contacts to HubSpot

You can add contacts to HubSpot without leaving your Superhuman inbox!

When you hover over an email that does not yet exist in HubSpot, an Add to HubSpot button will appear in the HubSpot sidebar.

Click Add to HubSpot to view the contact form.

Once the form has been completed, hit Cmd+Enter (Mac) or Ctrl+Enter (Windows) to save the contact in HubSpot.

Auto-Bcc

Superhuman allows you to add your HubSpot-generated Bcc address to every message that you send. To get started, first find your HubSpot Bcc address:

  1. Open HubSpot.
  2. Click the ⚙️ in HubSpot’s main navigation bar to access your settings.
  3. On the left side, select Objects → Activities.
  4. Under the Email Log & Track tab, go to the Manual Logging section at the bottom of the page.
  5. Copy the Bcc email address.

Then, in Superhuman you'll want to:

  1. Hit Cmd+K or Ctrl+K → Auto-Bcc Settings.
  2. Paste the bcc address into the window that appears.
  3. Hit Enter to save the change.

Mobile

You can view HubSpot data on the contact cards on iOS.

Editing capabilities are not yet available for iOS.

FAQs

HubSpot permission

  • If you are not seeing the right contacts, you may need to check in with your HubSpot admin to receive permission.
  • Superhuman does not differentiate between granular levels of permission. Users that have permission to read objects in HubSpot, will also be able to read those objects in Superhuman.

Does this integration change how emails are logged to HubSpot?

The integration does not change how emails are logged to HubSpot. This is just displaying the data.

I’m having trouble signing into my HubSpot account.

In order to sign into HubSpot, you must have this permission granted by a HubSpot admin.
